03 · HOW TO PLAY

Playing this build

1Early preparation

While using Default Sword and Shield, combine the starting Lightning Arrow grimoire (which casts Lightning Bolt) with weapon attacks. Physical damage amplification is reduced by 20%, so use magic to supplement your damage. Keep enough MP for Block and Cleave. Use the items prepared at the Wishing Fountain; the final weapon's unique effect becomes available after evolution.

2Upgrades and transition

Default Sword and Shield → Conductor → Superconductor. Intermediate weapon effect: Lightning Damage increases by 5. After the final evolution: Cleave becomes a lightning spear that consumes 4 Storm Clouds. Time its use around your cloud supply and recovery, and fire toward enemies lined up in a row.

3Combat loop

Secure the Storm Cloud combo and cloud-generating items first.
Fight with normal attacks, magic, and companions while checking your remaining clouds.
Fire the lightning spear when enemies line up, then replenish clouds when your supply runs low.

Boss fights

Storm Clouds are consumed by more than the lightning spear, so save enough to use it during openings after the boss attacks.

Without the core items

Start with Sapote Fruit and Stone Flower in place of Lightning Rod, and activate the tier-2 Storm Cloud combo first.
