01 · SETUP

Starting setup

Availability depends on your unlocks

Recommended character

Red-Clothed Cat

Use 15% fire damage amplification and the starting Fire Bolt spellbook. Physical damage amplification decreases by 20%, so do not rely solely on physical hits. After evolving into Incendium, weapon attacks also scale with fire damage.

Fruit skewer 6 total

  • Peanut(Sturdy)×3
  • Orange(Ember)×2
  • Starfruit(Precision)×1

Wishing fountain Fountain usage 9 of 9

  • Mystical PendulumCapacity 6
  • Ohia LehuaCapacity 3
Why this choice
Prepare Mystical Pendulum and Ohia Lehua at the Wishing Fountain. This uses 9/9 capacity, and the items must be unlocked first. Then collect items in the same categories to complete the target combos.

Talents 50 points

  • Willpower20
  • Swiftness20
  • Wrath10
Why this choice
Willpower 20 adds 15 maximum HP and 25 maximum MP and provides 9 Wishing Fountain capacity. Swiftness 20 adds 20% attack speed, 8 evasion, and 1 dash charge. It also increases dash recovery speed and final weapon damage. At level 20, dash invincibility lasts 0.1 seconds longer, with an additional final weapon damage bonus. Wrath 10 adds 10% critical chance and 20% critical damage. Damage dealt to bosses and minibosses also increases by 10%. Uses 50 points in total.

Recommended miracle

Chef

  • Fire damage +5
  • Burn damage +25%
  • Gain 1 Ember artifact (selected from unlocked, eligible candidates)
Why this choice
Add 5 fire damage and 25% Burn damage to strengthen fire attacks and damage over time. Also gain 1 Ember artifact. The granted item is selected from candidates that meet the unlock and eligibility requirements, so a particular core item is not guaranteed.

Stat priorities

  1. Normal attack damage
  2. Fire damage and bonuses against burning targets
  3. Weapon critical chance and critical damage
  4. Core artifact levels and defensive stats

02 · SYNERGY

Target bonds and core items

Prioritize the items below when available. Reaching the target combo requires additional items of the same category and their placement; leveling an item alone does not increase the combo count.

Primary

Sturdy

6Combo target
  • Mystical Pendulum

Greatly increase normal attack damage, but reduce attack speed by 10%. Choose it when you can compensate for the attack speed loss.

  • Begonia Sachet

Increase normal attack damage. Use it with weapon effects that benefit from normal attack bonuses.

  • Silver Plate

Increase normal and special attack damage to support both attack types.

Bond choices and conditions
Increase the damage of the fire strike, which counts as a normal attack. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.
Support

Ember

8Combo target
  • Dragoncense

Increase fire damage to strengthen fire attacks and related artifacts.

  • Blacksmith's Tongs

Increase weapon attack damage against burning enemies. Do not interpret this as increasing all other damage, including Solar Blades.

  • Flaming Eye Patch

Increase attack speed and the critical damage of fire attacks. Choose it for attacks that benefit from fire critical hits.

Bond choices and conditions
Increase fire damage and support weapon damage against burning enemies. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.
Support

Precision

6Combo target
  • Charm of Aspiration

Increase the critical chance of weapon attacks. Do not count this as increasing the critical chance of spellbooks or companions.

  • Warm Stone

Increase critical damage to deal more damage when a critical hit occurs.

Bond choices and conditions
Increase the critical chance and damage of fire weapon attacks. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.

03 · HOW TO PLAY

Playing this build

1Early preparation

While using Default Sword and Shield, combine the starting Fire Bolt grimoire with weapon attacks. Physical damage amplification is reduced by 20%, so use magic to supplement your damage. Keep enough MP for Block and Cleave. Use the items prepared at the Wishing Fountain; the final weapon's unique effect becomes available after evolution.

2Upgrades and transition

Default Sword and Shield → Incendium → Flame Eater: Haetae. Intermediate weapon effect: Damage dealt by Weapon Attack is reduced by 15%, but it is changed to Fire Damage. After the final evolution: Cleave becomes Flame Strike, classified as a normal attack. Raise normal attack damage and fire elemental damage, and land the strike after enemies finish retaliating.

3Combat loop

  1. Apply burn with fire attacks.
  2. Land Flame Strike during a clear opening.
  3. Cover your recovery with guarding or movement, then create another angle for Flame Strike.

Boss fights

Land Flame Strike during long openings after attacks, and avoid stacking only special attack damage items.

Without the core items

Without Mystical Pendulum, strengthen the strike with Begonia Sachet and Dragoncense.

Cautions and scope of verification

Conditions to watch

  • Do not assume Flame Strike deals special attack damage.
  • Changing to normal-attack classification does not guarantee that every normal-attack event triggers identically.
