Lazarion

Amethyst companions scaled by average elemental damage

Summon an Amethyst companion with a special attack. Its damage scales with the average of all elemental damage stats, and it spends its own HP when attacking, so secure both companion damage and resources to resummon it.

01 · SETUP

Starting setup

Availability depends on your unlocks

Recommended character

Mole

Gain companion damage +10%, at the cost of defense -20 and movement speed -10%.

Fruit skewer 6 total

  • Strawberry(Companion)×3
  • Tri-Tangerine(Elemental)×2
  • Watermelon(Lake)×1

Wishing fountain Fountain usage 6 of 9

  • Simple ContractCapacity 3
  • Endoditte’s PaperweightCapacity 3
Why this choice
Prepare Simple Contract and Endoditte’s Paperweight at the Wishing Fountain. This uses 6/9 capacity, and the items must be unlocked first. Then collect items in the same categories to complete the target combos.

Talents 50 points

  • Willpower20
  • Ingenuity20
  • Wrath10
Why this choice
Willpower 20 adds 15 maximum HP and 25 maximum MP and provides 9 Wishing Fountain capacity. Ingenuity 20 improves maximum HP, evasion, and inventory space, and increases weapon, item, and miracle choices. Also gain 7% final damage per active combo category. Wrath 10 adds 10% critical chance and 20% critical damage. Damage dealt to bosses and minibosses also increases by 10%. Uses 50 points in total.

Recommended miracle

General

  • Companion damage +35%
  • Gain 1 Companion artifact (selected from unlocked, eligible candidates)
Why this choice
Increase companion damage by 35% to strengthen their attacks, and use 1 Companion artifact to help form combos. The granted item is selected from candidates that meet the unlock and eligibility requirements, so a particular core item is not guaranteed.

Stat priorities

  1. Companion damage, attack frequency, and maximum HP
  2. Average elemental damage
  3. MP regeneration and maximum MP
  4. Core artifact levels and defensive stats

02 · SYNERGY

Target bonds and core items

Prioritize the items below when available. Reaching the target combo requires additional items of the same category and their placement; leveling an item alone does not increase the combo count.

Primary

Companion

8Combo target
  • Simple Contract

Increase companions' maximum HP. The exact duration resulting from Amethyst's own HP consumption requires separate verification.

  • Slim Cushion

Increase companion attack frequency. Amethyst spends its own HP when attacking, so faster attacks may also shorten its summon duration.

  • Alfonso’s Horn

Increase companion damage and also improve the player's evasion.

Bond choices and conditions
Increase companion damage and attack frequency, and support maximum HP. Also check how this interacts with its own HP consumption. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.
Support

Elemental

6Combo target
  • Magic Carrot

Increase your highest elemental damage and movement speed to support your main elemental attacks and spacing.

  • Standards of Magic

Increase your highest elemental damage and spellbook damage. The spellbook damage bonus does not apply to all weapon attacks.

  • Sharp Flint

Increase critical chance and your highest elemental damage.

Bond choices and conditions
Increase elemental damage to raise the average used as the basis of amethyst attacks. Grimoire damage bonuses do not apply to companions. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.
Support

Lake

6Combo target
  • Endoditte’s Paperweight

Increase both maximum MP and MP regeneration to sustain abilities that consume MP.

  • White Branch

Increase MP regeneration to help use MP-consuming abilities again.

  • Star Aquamarine

Increase final MP to provide more MP for each engagement. Obtain MP regeneration separately.

Bond choices and conditions
Secure enough MP to summon the amethyst again after it disappears. You do not need every recommended item. Reach the target combo with other items in the same category and placement bonuses.

03 · HOW TO PLAY

Playing this build

1Early preparation

With the Steel Greatsword, use normal attack chains at the edge of your reach and Whirlwind charged safely in advance. Look for openings after enemy attacks so you do not get hit while charging. Use the items prepared at the Wishing Fountain; the final weapon's unique effect becomes available after evolution.

2Upgrades and transition

Steel Greatsword → Troubling Delight → Lazarion. Intermediate weapon effect: Weapon Attack is changed to a form that uses Laser. After the final evolution: Summon an Amethyst companion with a special attack. Its damage scales with the average of all elemental damage stats, and it spends its own HP when attacking, so secure both companion damage and resources to resummon it.

3Combat loop

  1. Summon Amethyst when combat begins and MP is sufficient.
  2. Support from a safe distance while Amethyst attacks.
  3. When Amethyst disappears, resummon it at the next attack opportunity.

Boss fights

Do not waste summons while the boss is invulnerable or moving far away. Consider that faster companion attacks may also consume its HP faster.

Without the core items

Without Alfonso’s Horn, improve companion HP with Simple Contract and sustain resummoning with Lake items.

04 · REVIEW NOTES

Cautions and scope of verification

Conditions to watch

  • Do not assume the player's critical stats automatically transfer to companions.
  • Higher attack speed does not also extend the duration of each summon.

Needs further verification

  • Amethyst's current summoning cost and the order in which companion HP bonuses apply require further verification.
