03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
At the base Colossal Crossbow stage, compensate for reduced physical damage with Ice Bolt and Scabbard of Exorcism. Trigger the charged ice blade wave through normal firing.
2Upgrades and transition
With Frost Veil, activate the buff using the special attack, then fire ice-element normal shots. After evolving into Rapid Freeze Crystal, normal attacks during the veil also receive Frost Relic enhancements.
3Combat loop
- Check ammo and MP, then activate Frost Veil from a safe firing position.
- Keep firing normal shots while the veil lasts, triggering charged Frost Relics alongside them.
- When the veil ends, reload and recover MP while preparing for the next firing opportunity.
Boss fights
Time your veil firing for periods when the boss stays in one place. Even with extra Frost Relic activations, stop attacking and evade attacks that require active dodging.
Without the core items
Without Frozen Heart, increase Frost Relic damage with Tiny Magic Conch. Keep acquiring items that trigger attacks, such as Scabbard of Exorcism or Frozen Bow.
