03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
At the base Colossal Crossbow stage, compensate for reduced physical damage with Lightning Arrow and Storm Cloud. Before Cloud Gatherer, regular arrows cannot charge Storm Cloud.
2Upgrades and transition
Obtain lightning arrows through Unstable Lightning Mark. After Cloud Gatherer, hitting with those lightning arrows grants Storm Cloud charge.
3Combat loop
- Confirm Storm Cloud is active, then fire normal shots so lightning arrows hit enemies.
- Spend your magazine while staying close enough for cloud strikes to reach enemies.
- After reloading and evading, land hits again to reduce the time the cloud is empty.
Boss fights
Keep landing lightning arrows on the boss while avoiding hits. If cloud charge is full, prioritize actual cloud damage over adding more charge gain.
Without the core items
If you cannot bring Lightning Stone, activate the tier 2 Storm Cloud bond with Sapote Fruit and Stone Flower first. The two items cost 7 fountain capacity in total, fitting within the capacity of 9 from Willpower 20.
