Playing this build
1Early preparation
At the base Colossal Crossbow stage, compensate for reduced physical damage with Fire Bolt and Solar Blade. Check the bond display to confirm Solar Blade is active.
2Upgrades and transition
Fire Mine changes it into a fire weapon. After Solis Iubar, accept the weapon damage reduction and focus growth on the +35% Solar Blade damage.
3Combat loop
- Fire at enemies with Solar Blades ready.
- Watch where the launched blades land and move along a safe path.
- Retrieve blades with Meteorite Pauldrons or wait for regeneration, then set up the next firing window.
Boss fights
Do not enter dangerous areas just to retrieve blades around the boss. Concentrate damage at safe moments when you can obtain blades again.
Without the core items
Without Meteorite Pauldrons, support blade cycling with Ancient Anvil or Eternal Furnace. If you lack Solar Blade items, hold out with normal fire shots and prioritize the tier 2 bond.
