03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
With Colossal Crossbow, fight using normal shots and manual reloads. Do not assume dashing instantly refills ammo before the final evolution.
2Upgrades and transition
After evolving through Reload Device into Bounty Hunter, the magazine is fixed at 6 shots and dash attacks are removed. From then on, use the dash itself as an instant reload.
3Combat loop
- Fire six normal shots in a safe direction.
- Dash to reload instantly when the magazine empties or you need to evade.
- Attack again with the fresh magazine, but keep enough dashes to evade the next pattern.
Boss fights
Time your firing so the dash that evades the boss's attack also refills the magazine. Do not spend every remaining dash just to refill ammo.
Without the core items
Without Golden Cloak, improve recovery with Compression Bandage and use Crossbow Quiver as an emergency reload option. Do not prioritize dash damage items.
