03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
With Colossal Crossbow, use normal attacks and mines, remembering that placing mines requires a dash.
2Upgrades and transition
Fight with Scattershot Shooter's gunpowder shots, then switch to attaching bombs with normal and dash attacks and detonating them with the special after obtaining The Barnacle.
3Combat loop
- Attach sticky bombs to priority enemies with normal attacks.
- Leave the enemy's counterattack path, then detonate attached bombs with the special attack.
- Attach fresh bombs after reloading, using dash attacks as support only when enough escape options remain.
Boss fights
Finish attaching bombs before the boss begins a dangerous move, then detonate from a distance. There is an attachment limit, so avoid postponing detonation to stack bombs indefinitely.
Without the core items
If attack speed items are scarce, use Crossbow Quiver to shorten the next attachment cycle. If dashes are limited, attach bombs with normal attacks only and save dashes for escape.
