03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
With the Dagger, fight using normal attack chains and parries. Leave an escape route after dash attacks enhanced by the scarf.
2Upgrades and transition
Beyond the Threshold cannot use Fury, so gain its buff with a dash attack and follow with normal attacks. After evolving into Lightless Blade, spend a dash charge to deploy Blade Prison.
3Combat loop
- Dash to where enemies will gather, then use a dash attack to deploy Blade Prison.
- Mix in normal attacks from the edge to keep enemies inside the area.
- Do not spend your last dash on offense; place the next prison once charges recover.
Boss fights
Place the prison where the boss finishes a charge or starts a long animation. Do not keep placing empty zones while chasing a moving boss.
Without the core items
Without Yakumo Short Blade, maintain physical damage and attack speed with Charm of Strength and Warrior Seal. Supplement dash recovery with Compression Bandage.
