03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
With the basic Dagger, do not insist on the fifth hit; interrupt dangerous sequences with a parry or dash.
2Upgrades and transition
With Beyond the Threshold, prepare the attack buff through dash attacks. Absolute Envy centers on stronger third, fourth, and fifth hits and increased stagger.
3Combat loop
- Approach with a dash attack while finding a safe place to start the chain.
- Continue through hits 3, 4, and 5 right after the enemy staggers or finishes a major attack.
- After the chain, move sideways to avoid the next attack, then start again.
Boss fights
Against bosses that cannot be reliably staggered, finish the chain only during openings after attacks. Do not force a dangerous finishing hit for Golden Crown of Arrogance.
Without the core items
Without Golden Crown of Arrogance, use Charm of Aspiration and Warm Stone to improve critical hits throughout the chain.
