03 · HOW TO PLAY
Playing this build
1Early preparation
With the Blade, mix in normal attacks and use Heavy Slash after sheathing during safe openings. Do not spend all your MP right from the start.
2Upgrades and transition
With Long Blade 'Onohara', Heavy Slash starts to benefit from attack speed. With Muramasa, switch to permanent sheathing and Swift Slash.
3Combat loop
- Use Swift Slash repeatedly immediately after the enemy's attack ends.
- Stop attacking before MP runs too low, and adjust your distance while it recovers.
- Keep a dash available to escape dangerous attack patterns.
Boss fights
Slash several times during brief pauses in the boss's movement, then immediately create distance. Do not trade hits with enemies just because your attack speed is high.
Without the core items
Without Sword Training Manual, supplement attack speed with Silver Bracelet and Warrior Seal. If MP is insufficient, prioritize Endoditte’s Paperweight and reduce consecutive inputs.
