03 · HOW TO PLAY

Playing this build

1Early preparation

Activate the tier 2 Solar Blade bond from the Blade stage, and learn weapon and spell hits alongside retrieval. You do not consume Solar Blades for Eclipse yet.

2Upgrades and transition

Use Helbanus's extra fire damage. Solis Ekli replaces sheathing with Eclipse, so switch to gathering resources before creating an empowered attack window.

3Combat loop

  1. Use Solar Blades through weapon and magic attacks, then retrieve fallen blades.
  2. Once Solar Blades are secured, consume them through Eclipse for enhancement.
  3. Concentrate normal attacks during the enhancement, then retrieve blades again.

Boss fights

Stockpile blades and activate Eclipse just before a safe opening. Do not recklessly collect blades underneath the boss; use retrieval tools such as Meteorite Pauldrons.

Without the core items

Without retrieval items, use Ancient Anvil to shorten the time until Solar Blades fall, and pick up safely placed blades first. Activate the tier 2 Solar Blade bond first, then center your play on Eclipse.
