02 · SYNERGY
Prioritize the items below when available. Reaching the target combo requires additional items of the same category and their placement; leveling an item alone does not increase the combo count.
Periodically apply Burn.
Increase Burn damage, which the weapon description also links to ring damage.
Secure additional Burn applications and maximum stacks.
Applying a debuff has a chance to spread it to nearby enemies. A cooldown prevents it from spreading on every application.
Accept the critical stat penalty to increase debuff damage.
Increase your highest elemental damage and movement speed.
Increase your highest elemental damage and critical chance.
Increase your highest elemental damage and strengthen supporting spells.
03 · HOW TO PLAY
Use Burn with Quarterstaff, Fire Bolt, and Phoenix Wing. Ring of Fire appears only after the final evolution, so direct hits are needed before then.
Staff of Embers changes weapon attacks to be fire-based. After Fiaola’s Judgment Staff, applying Burn becomes the condition for creating a Ring of Fire.
Move to keep the boss within the ring's range, without forcing melee trades. If the boss moves far away, wait for a safe chance to re-enter.
Without Phoenix Wing, apply Burn with Flame Touch from the tier 2 Ember bond and Fire Arrow. If Burn damage equipment is scarce, first increase the shared fire scaling with Dragoncense.
